Second Master Class Environmental Academy Training sucesfull organized

From 5th to 7th February, 2019, Sarajevo hosted the second in a series of trainings in the frame of Master Class Environmental Academy within the ELAN project, which brought together numerous representatives of civil society organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Master Class Environmental Academy aims to strengthen the capacities of environmental CSOs in BiH through the development of skills, acquisition of knowledge, promotion of networking and promotion of cooperation among organizations. New skills and knowledge will further build the capacity of CSOs to influence decision-making processes and increase public participation in these processes. The Master Environmental Academy consists of four modules together with a study visit to Sweden.

Within the framework of the second moule training of the Master Class Environmental Academy, the following topics were covered:

These topics have been identified by the CSOs (through the Registry process) as the key that should be dealt with through this training. The training was attended by representatives of 30 environmental CSOs from all over BiH.

The Head of Mission and Director of the Regional Environmental Center for Bosnia and Herzegovina Ms. Lejla Šuman addressed the participants.

The ELAN project is financially supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency and implement by the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe, the Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina (REC BIH).
